Goal Updates: April Fools edition…

It’s a double post day… I know crazy of me huh… but maybe this is my way of making this a good day – especially on a day that seems to go against me in recent memory. Anyway, I wanted to make sure that I update y’all on my goals. Even though they really aren’t being accomplished very well at the moment. 🙂

Goal updates – April Fools edition…

 

Ok… 9 months left of the year. 3.5 months until little brothers wedding. 4.5 months until Bloggy Boot Camp and about 7 months until Relevant 10. I really should order/design those business cards soon. 🙂

 

1. Write, write, write…
The first sentence of the journey has been written – and I’m coming up with more/less an outline of what I want to cover. It may be a shorter book, but with help from people (personal and professional) I think I can make it into a pretty decent thing.

 
2. Take a photo everyday…
#FAIL (as we say on twitter). This “goal” may not appear in the future months. LOL

 
3. Host a girls night out — or in!
Still on track for sometime… gotta work on plannin’ that!

 
4. Track my food…
Started over yesterday. Had an ok day with it. Going to try to do better today! Have a plan, and going to be all over it. 15 pounds to lose in 3.5 months. Start = NOW!

 
5. Run in the Fifth Third Riverbank Run…
I am training. Run, run, run. Yup. And sometime I still go to Kickboxing. Because I like the people there – and the class is much fun.

 
6. Read and comment on at least 5 blogs daily…
Not quite a fail… but not averaging 5 per day yet. Once I get going on blog reading at night, I’m pretty good about leaving comments, it’s just reading all the blogs I want to read to get there.

 
7. Invite my family over for Sunday lunch…
Still hasn’t been worked on… but I’m sure they are all excited. I mean really, it’s lunch with me, made by me, at my {little} house. If you didn’t know, it’s all about me.

 
8. Exercise at least 5 days each week…
Starts next week. I swear. Especially with the new goal of losing 15 pounds in the next 3.5 months. Seriously have to start earning activity points.

 
9. Read one chapter of the Bible daily…
Not so good on this during March. New goal has been established… doing the “Bible in 90 days” starting June 1.

 
10. Clean my house for 20 minutes per day…
When I think about it… I do ok. As you may have read, last Friday I actually vacuumed – as well as some other things. I want to clean up my spare bedroom a little and get some things cleaned up in my kitchen… like organize and clean up the counters. Maybe if I get everything all cleaned up I’ll vlog my house for you! 🙂

11. See a movie by myself…
If I can’t find anyone to see the new Nicholas Sparks movie with… I will go alone and be a blubbering mess there. I’ve heard it’s excellent. I want to see it this weekend!!

I thought of another couple goals to add to this… but in the course of the month I’ve forgotten what they are. Another important reminder why I need to write things down.
